Let me introduce myself;

My name is Ilonka and I am the owner of Kerstdorpfan.nl

My web shop originated from a hobby that got out of hand: building my own Christmas village. With great passion, I have collected my own room-filling Christmas village in the past. I have expanded my own collection each time by purchasing second-hand Christmas villages. 

I made my first purchases through the Dutch website 'Marktplaats'. Unfortunately, I was often disappointed because items were not delivered as described after all. Often, packaging turned out to be broken or the items incomplete or damaged. The method of shipping and packaging was also often very poor. 

Because I was getting more and more duplicate items in my possession and also felt that selling and shipping the beautiful Christmas village items could be much better, I decided in May 2017 to set up my own webshop; Kerstdorpfan.nl
So I really managed to fulfil my dream; to make my hobby my profession!

I mainly focused on items from the Lemax brand. I also sell articles of the brands Luville, Department56, Mr.Christmas, Dickensville, Jägerndorfer, Intratuin, Typisch Hollands and MyVillage.
As for the Lemax brand, I can say by now that I have the largest selection of new (also items that are Retired) and used items. It is a challenge for me to be the first to show and deliver the new collection every year.

With great enthusiasm, I am always on the lookout for exclusive, rare and retired items. I import many items myself from the United States; this allows me to offer items on my website that have never been released in Europe (e.g. from Carole Town, Coventry Cove, Summer Americana and Toys-R-Us).

I pay a lot of attention to the item descriptions on my website. I find it important that the description and photos of the article match the article you receive. In the item description you will find the condition of the item; new or used, with or without original box, with or without adapter, etc. If an item is damaged or incomplete, I always mention this in the item description. It is very important to me that you get an honest picture of what you buy from me. 

I make photos of all used items on my website; this way you can also see exactly what the item looks like.

I ship worldwide! To save on shipping costs, it is possible to save up orders in my storage. Saving up orders is free and you only pay shipping costs once.
